Infant Toddler Education Workshop – Virtual – May 23rd (members only)

The class covers:
- USSSA guidelines on swimming instruction for children under the age of 36 months;
- development of a teaching philosophy;
- professionalism and continuing education;
- health and safety concerns;
- basic child development and implications towards swimming;
- progressions and skill development;
- video of swim programs and numerous skill progressions;
- A Certificate of Completion will be awarded at the end of the course.

Time – 9:00 am – 3:30 pm PST
Duration – 6 1/2 hours (time for short breaks will be provided)
Workshop fee: $159.00 (includes the Infant Toddler Online Educational Pre-Course)
*The Infant Toddler pre-course must be taken online prior to the workshop. The price includes the pre-course. If you have taken the online pre-course please contact the office for a discount code. admin@usswimschools.org

****To get your certificate you need to complete the online pre-req course; we expect all participants to be on camera during the virtual course but if unable to be on camera during any portion they need to reach out to the USSSA office prior for approval; attention should be focused on course presenter and materials – not on other tasks; attendees should be engaged and participate in all breakout sessions; attendees should be prepared for roll call at the start and a various points throughout the workshop to confirm engagement. If it’s determined that attendees were not engaged for 1 and a half hours or more, USSSA reserves the right to not issue a certificate. (that’s about 25% of the time)
