Dallas TX, Feb 10 & 11 2018

Take time to challenge your routines! Let’s be innovative and grow together at the 2018 USSSA Spring Conference in Dallas, TX for swim school teachers, owners, and managers. Celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2018, this event is building up to be bigger and better than ever starting off with our host hotel, the W Dallas Victory! And of course, why wouldn’t it? You know, as they say, everything is bigger in Texas!

Featured Keynote:  Talent is the Whole Ball Game, John Thrailkill, Executive VP of IT & Business Development, The Container Store.

The Container Store has built their brand on the joyful conviction that their employees are their top priority, their most treasured asset.  And it’s working, with less than 10% turnover in an industry where the average employee doesn’t even stay a year.  Learn some of the secrets to creating a culture that keeps your employees coming back for more day in and day out.

Keynote:  The Swim School Etiquette Guide, Joy Weaver

According to a study by the Harvard Business School, “85% of our personal and business success can be directly attributed to our personal skills, while only 15% is due to our education and experience.”  Joy will teach business and social etiquette that creates a positive work environment, less turnover, more productivity and greater profitability. Topics covered will include: Importance of First Impression, Body Language, Off the Record (front desk snafus and changing room talk), Tech Etiquette and Customer Centricity.
