Member Spotlight: SwimWest Swim School This month, United States Swim School Association is proud to honor SwimWest Swim School and owner Karen Kittelson as our featured school. In business for more than 24 years, Karen opened SwimWest in a rented hotel pool. In 1995, after five years of renting space at the hotel, a health club and outdoor pools, Karen built her first private swim school location in Madison, Wisconsin.
