Today Show Interviews USSSA Member on Water SMART Babies
PHOENIX, AZ – According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, every year there are, on average, 700 accidental drowning deaths of children under the age of 14. The majority of those deaths are children under age four. United States Swim School Association member and owner of SWIMKids USA in Mesa, Arizona, Lana Whitehead was recently interviewed by the Today Show about a new initiative she is facilitating called Water SMART (Safety Methods and Rescue Techniques) Babies that will help reduce the number of child drowning deaths.
